How to save a trimmed video in quick time player with an alternative name
I have trimmed a video in quick time player but want to save it with an alternative name so as to be able to access the untrimmed video later

Choose ‘Save…’ from the File menu to save the trimmed/edited file under a new name (and new location if you want). It will default to “Untitled”. This would be like Export, but without re-encoding.
