Google doesn't provide accurate or up-to-date responses for this. Can someone please tell me how to find the Podcasts app on my iPhone 16e? One thing Google did suggest is the app may be hidden in the App Library, but I can't even find that. I found the Podcasts app in the App Store, but there is only the option to OPEN the app, not to download it. If I can only open it, how would I be able to save it to the phone?

If you see the option to Open the app, it is indeed on your iPhone. To get to the App Library, swipe your screen from right to left until you arrive at the App Library. Look for the Podcast app and drag it from the app library to any home screen you want it on.

So at the bottom of the screen on your iPhone 16e when you unlock it there’s a small ‘search’ box. Tap and type Podcasts. The app will appear. Tap to open.
FWIW I never go flipping through my app pages looking for an app. I always use the search feature and don’t care what screen it’s on.
As for the App Library it’s the last page AFTER you have swiped all the way to the left. Keep swiping and there it is. There are also options in the Settings->Home Screen & App Library to consider.
It's kind of impossible to NOT have the App Library. On your first page of apps, commonly referred to as the Home Screen, swipe from the right hand side of the screen to the left. If you have multiple pages of app Home Screens, it may take a few swipes to arrive at the App Library. But the App Library CANNOT be removed or turned off.
