MacBook Pro screen scrolling full-screen colors

That usually indicates a hardware issue with the built-in Display Assembly. IIRC, sometimes it can be due to a loose internal video connection (with the USB-C Macs the connections are locked down so less likely to be a loose connection). I haven't seen that occur since the old 2009/2010 white MacBooks.
