"Object not accessible" error for LibreOffice spreadsheet on iMac

A file that I use fairly frequently is a spreadsheet that I open with Libre Office. I went to open it and it was not in the folder in which it has resided. I found it in the Libre Office Recent Documents menu item, and when I tried to open it, I got the message

Object not accessible.

The object cannot be accessed

due to insufficient user rights.

I tried to find it in Time Machine and it is not visible on multiple previous dates on which I know it was opened. It seems to be hidden somehow, so how can I find it again?

Using iMac, Sequoia 15.6.1
