Integrating the original Homepod into an existing network using Homepod mini

I have an existing home network using a HomePod mini, recently, I have found an old original homepod around the house and I want to know the implications of integrating it into the existing network. Will it be able to join? How will my automations be affected? What do you advise

There should be no implications other than getting a secondary HomePod on the network.

Your automations should not be affected. You can add the HomePod to the existing Automations if required, or leave it out of the automations.

It should have no issue joining, so yes, it should be able to join the network normally. You'll likely need to update it though.
