Installing Windows on an iPad with iPadOS

you can't, while microsoft has a version of windows for arm cpus (like the ipads cpu) then it's optimised for the qualcomm cpus and do not have any sort of drivers for the apple hardware, and on top of that then the ipad do not support one installing other operating systems than apples on it

you can remote desktop to a computer with windows though

An iPad runs iPadOS. The iPad hardware architecture fundamentally does not support installation of Microsoft Windows.
