Howto use an iPad in a retail setting for information access?

I want to use an iPad for customers to use to learn more about products in a retail setting. Is there a software program that allows me to do this? Basically, I’m looking for something pretty simple in which customers would put in the corresponding product number to see more product images, perhaps even a short video and a text description. The iPad will be mounted in a fixed position. No internet connection, so using a website won’t work. TIA
