I have recently installed Windows 11 and found that iTunes no longer works to sync music, photos, videos etc. You now have to use Apple Music and Apple Devices. When I try to sync photo folders from my PC to my iPad, not all the files are being copied and they are no longer in the order (date) that I originally set up. I never had this problem with iTunes. Any ideas how to resolve?

Uninstall Apple Music, TV and Devices, and iTunes will work normally again. You don't have to use the new suite of apps, but if you install them iTunes is limited to managing audiobooks and podcasts, and all device management features, including syncing photos, are suppressed.

You might try deleting the iPod Photo Cache in the photos folder you've selected to sync so that gets rebuilt. Other than that I don't know why your sync might be failing.

Hi, Thank you for your reply! I have been away so not been able to try this until today, and after a successful try, I then found that iTunes keeps on crashing when re syncing with the iPad, and also the photos are not in date order. Any ideas why?
