How to change the email password in iOS 18?

If I delete an email account will I not lose the associated saved emails, file information and folder structure for locally saved emails? ...or will they reappear after I reinstall the account? iPhone 16 Pro OS up to date, but the OS tells me my password or name is incorrect—they are not.

If you delete the email account, you will lose anything locally saved. Most email accounts these days, though, are IMAP and everything is synced to the server. So, unless you created folders locally, you should be fine.

As long as you're not talking about your Apple Account, it should.
