My MAC's Finder does not show the USB drive, but when I dial it out, it shows that it was not ejected normally.

Check Disk Utility > Open Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility. If the drive shows up there but is grayed out, select it and hit Mount.
Run First Aid in Disk Utility > this can fix a corrupted partition table.

Review your Finder Settings.
With Finder on the menu bar > select Settings...
In the General tab > check External disks
In the Sidebar tab > check External disks
Shut down the computer and USB drive and disconnect the cable of the drive from the back of the computer. Then restart the computer in Safe Mode per the directions in the link. Next restart the computer normally, connect the USB drive's cable and power on the USB Drive and test.
