HP Envy Inspire compatibility with Monterey 12.7.6

I am looking at adding a printer to my iMac (Retina, 5k, late 2015, MacOS Monterey 12.7.6). Apple's website listed the HP Envy Inspire 7220e All-in-One Printer. However, looking thru the compatibility list, it looks like this may not be compatible with the Monterey OS and my late 2015 Mac. Is my interpretation of the website information accurate? Thank you for your kind assistance.

iMac 27″, macOS 12.7

Check with HP for the official answer, but that should work.

Given the official HP documentation and its omission of macOS and Apple platforms, I wouldn’t buy it. It looks targeted for Microsoft Windows.

That printer supports AirPrint, so at least basic printing and scanning functions can be performed on Apple platforms and without vendor drivers. Added or driver-based features won’t, or will require vendor drivers and apps.

Look at the consumables pricing, among other details.

Infrequently-used inkjet printers can clog, too

Whatever you pick, you want AirPrint support.

Local preference is Brother laser. The last of the HP printers rolled out of here a few years ago.
