Unintended subscription charges in CapCut, VPN, REMINI, and VPN LUMOS after free trial

Hello, I was recently charged for a subscription in CapCut,VPN,REMINI,VPN LUMOS after the free trial ended. I did not receive any clear notification that the trial had expired, and I did not intend to continue the subscription. I have not used the subscription after being charged. Could you please help me cancel and issue a refund for this payment? Thank you very much for your assistance.

If the subscription is managed by Apple, you cancel here:

When you sign up for a free trial that is managed by Apple, you will see these things on the Authorization Screen that requires you to double click the side button.

  • Trial length
  • Subscription Start date
  • Subscription price
  • Subscription Length
  • Message stating to avoid the subscription charge you must cancel a day before the trial period ends.


There is no additional notification as those are the terms that you have already agreed to. It makes no difference if you used a subscription after being charged and Apple is not monitoring your activities to even know that. In most cases, all transactions in the App Store are final due to the explicit actions that are required on your part, but at times Apple may provide a compassionate refund. It should never be expected though. You can try here for any charge that is managed by Apple.

Note that Apple considers all sales final and issues refunds on an exception basis.


To the best of my knowledge, there is no notification that the trial is ending. I always put a mention in my calendar for 24 hours before the end date to prevent issues like this.
