iphone 16 pro wifi problems

Since the first day when I got my IPhone Pro 16 I am having WiFi problems, when I wake up my IPhone 16 Pro only have 20 Mbps In download, no

problem with uploading I turn WiFi on the IPhone off wait a few seconds and then on again, and problem solved. But I have to do that many times a day. I have been talking to Apple support several times, it has been into repair, they did not find anything wrong with it. I don’t have vpn, I have eSIM, I have been trying a SIM card. Everything on my WiFi network is working fine and network is fine. I hope that the new IOS 26 can fix the problem

I have the newest software. I have been restarting my phone and WiFi router many times. Last week I made a reinstalling with cable with my Mac and iTunes and still the problem is there

what can I do ?

are there others with the same problem as me ?

thank you

I am certain that this matter is unrelated to the iOS 18.6.2 firmware currently installed on your device.

If your Wi-Fi router is not configured properly, it can cause the kind of connectivity issue you’re experiencing. However, if the problem only occurs on your iPhone and not on other devices connected to the same router, then the issue may be related to your iPhone’s MAC address settings.

iPhones have a feature called Private Wi-Fi Address, which can be set to either rotate periodically or remain fixed for a specific network. Some routers may fail to recognize or allow rotating MAC addresses, causing connectivity drops or failures.

To test this, go to:

Settings > Wi-Fi > (your network) > Private Wi-Fi Address

and try turning this option off. This will make your iPhone use its actual hardware MAC address instead of a randomized one.

Private WiFi

If turning it off resolves the issue, you can either keep it disabled for that particular network or update your router’s configuration to better handle randomized addresses.

Also, check if Private Relay is an issue. Disable it.
