How to disable Internet accounts notifications?

I have several Pop/Imap accounts using Mail on macOS Sequoia (and earlier). Due to a slow response from the mail server some accounts frequently disconnect. They eventually reconnect by themselves after a few minutes, but I keep getting these notifications asking me to enter my passwords (which are correct in the keychain):

I disabled Mail notifications, but Internet account notifications are nowhere to be found in System settings.

How do I prevent this annoying clutter of my screen? I have to click dozens times a day to remove these unwanted and useless popups.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.6

hmmm...

It seems you have covered the essential here.

I've never encountered this issue.

To be proactive you can file a bug report / submit your Apple Feedback here direct to the product Team:

Thanks, will do.
It is actually an Internet account notification, not Mail. And these don't seem to be possibly disabled.

understood from your original post....

Occasionally I may lose a connection to email server— always resolved through the Mail.app never has Internet accounts come into play.

The difference may well be the source(?) of your email/provider "several Pop/Imap accounts" which you do not specify.

As noted not seen this issue reported before to say anything constructive.

The current stable release of Sequoia  including bug fixes,  security updates  is macOS 15.6.1
