Do I need iTunes Match if I subscribe to Apple Music?

I have Music Match so that my own home demos show up on all my devices. If I get Apple Music, do I still need Music Match? Will my home recordings still be on all my devices?

Assuming you mean iTunes Match, then no, you don't need both.

Apple Music and iTunes Match do the same thing, that is: match and upload tracks from your song library to the iCloud Music library for access on other devices; with Apple Music additionally offering access to the Apple Music catalog to stream and download.

You can subscribe to Apple Music, and once it's active cancel iTunes Match.
