DHL Clearance Event - MacBook Pro M4

Ordered a MacBook Pro M4 from Apple website on August 7, 2025. Got an estimated delivery date for August 18, 2025.

The shipment arrived at the DHL Sort Facility in Cincinnati, USA, on August 13 and has had repeated clearance events through today (August 22) without being released. The next step shown on the DHL website is: “Broker will be confirmed and will be responsible for further shipment clearance.”

Should I contact Apple or DHL to check on the next step?

My status becomes "Shipment has departed from a DHL facility CINCINNATI HUB" I live in Columbus so hopefully I can get it today or tomorrow. I also checked my email and didn't see the "lost in transit" email from Apple.

Looks like it’s stuck in US customs and US tariffs.

I suspect these delays have something to do w/ “Musical Tariff Rates promulgated via Social Media” policies in-effect of late.

This is very helpful. Through a random Google search, I found that Aug 1–Aug 14 is Ohio’s Sales Tax Holiday, which may have caused the delay in delivery of items through Ohio? Just a guess.
