How do I resolve Error 400 bad request on iPad 9th gen?

iPad ninth generation won’t load digital edition of newspaper. Error message - 400 bad request header or cookie too large. Problem just started three days ago. No problem loading on iPhone. Tried updating op system but problem still occurs. Any ideas

The Error 400 response is a server side error code - that indicates that the server cannot or will not process the request due to something that is perceived to be a client error (for example, malformed request syntax, invalid request message framing, or deceptive request routing).


If you have a VPN App or profiles installed, or a security/AV/firewall App such as Norton, these may be interfering with your network connection. If applicable, the resolution is usually simple; if installed, you may need to disable or remove the Security App and/or VPN.
