Why is tbe "OpenWeb" app not listed in my app store search
I can’t get into my comment posts archives on news sites b/c I don’t have spot.im or OkenWeb. Those are not in the hits when I search in my I-Phone App Store app.

It's up to each developer to offer their apps in the App Store. Apple does not make apps for other services or websites, it merely accepts them when offered if they comply with the App Store regulations.
OpenWeb does not appear to offer any apps directly in the App Store.
Contact them and suggest they offer an app.
