iMessage no longer showing on the top menu when I enter message via settings

i realized my iMessages are sent as text so I went to settings, clicked on message and I realized iMessage was no longer showing on top after the heading message.

on the iMessage sending as text, I have checked the iMessage tab is on, send and receive is showing my Apple ID and phone number.

so why are my iMessages still sending as text please I need help.
