2 step verification from BofA app works on iPhone, but not on iPad

Hello, as in my description, when I log on to my BofA app and it sends a 2 step verification text, it appears on my iPhone, but not on my iPad. I’ve done everything Apple and Google suggest (verify message forwarding on, same iCloud account, that the correct iPad is associated with the iPhone, etc). What else could be wrong?

If you have an iPhone - and both iPad and iPhone are signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID - to receive or send SMS/MMS messages (such as verification codes) with iPad you must explicitly enable Text Message Forwarding for your iPad on your iPhone...


On your iPhone:

Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - set to ON - and explicitly enable your iPad from the list of devices.


Also ensure that Messages in iCloud is enabled on both your iPhone and iPad:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Messages - set to ON
