How to disable 'Show All' in Finder on MacBook Air?

hi! i was wondering if there was a way to turn this off and make it so all files are just there to see? cause its annoying when im trying to go through my files to look for something and then i have to click show all everytime :(

i tried to look it up on google and idk if i was just phrasing it wrong but i haven't been able to find anything about it.
