Is this Apple community safe to use?

What do you consider safe?

Apple owns and monitors this forum. However, all responses you get are from other end users. So, it is possible to get bad advice. But, that can happen anywhere. The plus side of that is members who have been here longer will almost always jump in and tell you not to do xxx.

If you mean will your devices somehow be damaged just by being here? Then that's a big fat no.

If you have a question refrain from posting personal or device information such as addresses, serial numbers, passwords, etc. While Apple owns and operates these forums they are public and anyone from anywhere can view posts.
