Greyed-out Photos app reference in Numbers on iMac

A reference in numbers to get a photo from the mac Photos app always finds the Photos app greyed out. This happened when I sought a photo from a Numbers sheet that was in my Photo. It also happened with Whatsapp. The problem is in my iMac 2024 (Sequoia 15.6). On iPhone, the reference works! Photos is synchronzed in iCloud, but in the iCloud menu of files, it is not visible. I tried sending the applications file into "Documents" but "Photos" remained greyed out.
