iPadOS 18.6.1 update not for iPadPro 12.9" 6th Gen. M2?

Apple just last week released iOS and iPadOS 18.6.1 updates for eligible iPhones and iPads. I was able to update iOS 18.6 on my iPhone 15 Pro to 18.6.1, but iPadOS 18.6.1 doesn't appear as an update for my iPadPro 12.9" 6th Gen. M2 (2022?).

This seems odd to me. Has anybody else encountered this, or does anyone have an explanation for it?

Thanks

iPad Pro, iPadOS 18

I don't understand. Why release an update at all then? I'm not asking, where's an iPadOS 18.6.1 that would correspond to the iOS 18.6.1 update released for the iPhone. Or is the explanation, iPadOS 18.6.1 exists, but Apple hasn't released it yet(yet). macprime, a Swiss site, announced iPadOS 18.6.1, iOS 18.6.1 and macOS 15.6 (from 15.5, if memory serves me correctly), but I haven't seen an official Apple site announcing it.

I find it kinda wierd that the iPad hasn’t updated since 18.6. I would think all  phones and tablets that are capable would. Get something.

For the benefit of clarity, iOS 18.6.1 is appicable only to iPhone. This update reintroduces functionality for the Apple Watch and its interaction with iPhone; WatchOS has a corresponding update, this being WarchOS 11.6.1.

At this time, there is not a matching update for iPadOS. At the time of writing, iPadOS 18.6 remains current.
