I’ve also noticed “stale” threads somehow percolating-up to the “top” of my own Browse window as-if they are live/active threads.

I was tripped-up by one early this morning which had had zero apparent activity for a couple of weeks. (noticed - and corrected - only after my initial reply)

There might still seem to be some lingering site-issues in this regard.
