Mac OS tells me there's no space available in ex-fat usb devices

Hello,

I have some USB devices such as HD, pen-drive or simple my Amazon Kindle, are recognized from my mac, but system tells me that there are 0 bytes available in the device, hence it doesn't let me to upload files on these devices. There's of course space in them because if I connect them to a Windows PC, or an older MAC, they're loaded correctly.

These devices are not formatted APFS of course, because I use them on windows as well, and I need to pass them from a system to another.

Any help will be appreciated
