MacBook Pro 2019 won’t power on without charger even with battery charge

macbook pro 2019 Sometimes, even when the laptop is charging, when you turn it off and on, it does not turn on even when the charger is not connected. After connecting the charger, it shows the same amount of charge.

Unfortunately this behavior is more common than people realize with the 2016-2020 Intel Macs with USB-C ports. I've seen it occur with a brand new Apple OEM battery replacement (official repair), so I suspect a Logic Board issue is involved where it thinks the battery has been disconnected (or actually loses it connection temporarily).


Like the others mentioned, if this is the original battery from the factory, then it probably needs to be replaced since most Lithium Batteries need to be replaced between 3-5 years. If you are having battery related issues and the Battery Condition is showing as "Service Recommended", then it is time to replace the battery.
