Mac's DHCP lease renewal causing frequent internet drops

Have you shut down an restarted all devices router, modem, Mac...

Have you contacted your Service Provider to trouble shoot from their end— hardware...

Can you run the user Diagnostic...not as definitive as Apple's own AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit) back bench diagnostic, but may kick out an error code.

How about if give it a Static IP?
