Multiple blank 'New Message' forms in Apple Mail on iMac

The Mail program on my iMac spontaneously adds multiple New Message forms on my 2019 iMac Retina 5K 27 inch which is up to date and runs Sequoia Mac OS 15.6

Seems Apple Mail can likely only do what it is set up to do.

Eg: Could there be an action you often perform that results in a "New Message" form ?

Next time one pops up, you may want to take note of what you were doing immediately beforehand.

Accidentally pressing N when you have the Command key pressed = starts a new email

(ie: for that is the keyboard shortcut)

Have triggered "strange" things happening myself through accidentally allowing an unnoticed finger to lightly touch a key while I was pressing another key. (Also: by tapping the "Command" key instead of "Shift" for a key combination.)

Thank you for your suggestion for solving my problem with the Mail App. Unfortunately it didn't work. I did test your observation that Command N in the Mail App would produce a New Message page. However the spontaneous new messages pages would come sometimes when I opened the Mail App and at random times even in the midst of reading emails. Hopefully there will be other suggestions for a solution.

Sincerely,
