Is 8GB storage sufficient for music and photos on an iPod nano?

Hi i’m planning to get a Ipod nano All i will add in it is Music and pictures. Is 8gb good enough ?? I would be adding a lot of songs And take photos in it ??

That's impossible to answer as we have no idea how many photos or songs you may have.


If you have less than 8GB of stuff, then it should be fine. If they add up to more than that, then no.

Add up the storage taken up buy your pictures and music see how much it comes to.


As an average 8GB can hold around 1600 regular quality songs (5MB per song). Or around 3200 high quality pictures (2.5MB per picture). On average.
