How to edit a saved video in iCloud Photos library using Photo Booth?

I recently had a VHS tape converted to digital format, and saved it to my iCloud Photos library. I need to edit (trim) most of this video to delete the parts I don't want or need. All of the Apple Support seems to suggest doing this in Photo Booth, but I don't know how to open this video in Photo Booth. Looking for suggestions for what is (I hope) a relatively straightforward issue.

I'm not an all sure what you've heard, but Photo Booth is not a video editor. iMovie is. Photos can be used to edit videos. You can use Quicktime Player to do some editing, like cutting out pieces.

I think there are iMovie YouTube videos out there.
