"One more minute" doesn't work when I see "Time limit"

I'm using MacOS Sequoia 15.6.

When Screen Time was up, I clicked "Ask for more time" and then "One minute" but nothing happens. It's happened for at least the past couple months. No matter how long I wait, the hourglass doesn't turn over, and I don't get more time.

I couldn't find this issue discussed anywhere on Apple Support or Apple Discussions. Am I the first to ask about it?

An update happened a week or two ago, and I thought that would maybe fix the bug, but it didn't.

I thought that maybe, just maybe, updates would fix bugs, but they only introduce more bugs.
