Need to extend Album/Track length to properly import CD.

When importing a CD, the final track of the album ends earlier than expected which truncates (cuts off) in the middle of the word. I have confirmed that the word should be heard as the included insert shows the lyric and other online sources do not have the same issue.

How can I manually adjust the album and track to properly reflect the correct length?

I have attempted repeatedly to use the method (with no success) found by right-clicking the track/song on the CD > selecting "Get Info" > selecting the "Options" tab > then using the checkbox for Stop and updating the length (by increasing the number by a two seconds). This appears to be ignored by the program which is continuing to use a preset length from some database when recognizing the disc.

How can any experts submit a fix to correct this for ALL iTunes users?
