To delete a group chat on iMessage, open the Messages app and select the desired conversation. Tap on the group chat’s photo on the top and scroll down until you see “Leave This Conversation”. If it’s a group or 3 people, you cannot leave sadly. After leaving the conversation, close the chat, swipe right of the chat, and press the delete button.
