Every time I try to claim it, it goes under review and I never hear back from Apple.
Check you are eligible and providing everything that is required. (Wondering if you may need an album ?)
Eg: Above article says:
"If no artist or artist manager admin actions your request for 30 days, your request will expire."

We are all Apple users, like yourself, in this community, so if no other artists, or such, answer you here, you may want to ask those with experience in the Music industry.
