iPad Air 13 inch screen dead, thoughts?.

At the end of last week my iPad screen turned black. You could see that it was on, just not showing anything. The pad itself is as new as it is always hard cased. Apple guru confirmed it had died. I handnt realised the product had run out of warranty between the Thursday of the failure and the Monday trip to the Apple Store. It was out of warranty by 4 days and Apple support refused to help and offered a $600 repair.

keep this in mind when you buy Apple and think they are a decent company with a premium product.

i wondered if this is a common problem as this is the first year of the display size?.

This is my 10th iPad, glad my loyalty was worthwhile….
