Apps & Website Activity not grouping usage by App

Question

Hello, I've encountered an issue where Apps & Website Activity stopped grouping usage based on apps.

I've been happily checking to which app my time went to, but now I only see a total "daily usage".

It seems it picks up tab usage in safari, but I need it to also tell me how long were other apps open on my screen.

I've tried the common troubleshooting steps i.e.

And it still does not pick up other apps.

Fully resetting the Mac is not an option I would prefer.

I can not explain why yours is not

Have you tried in Safe Mode ?

Does the issue present in this mode ?

Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

Hello and thank you for your reply.

I've tried your suggestions, and it did not fix the issue.

Turned it on and off, left it off for 2 days, tried the same in SafeMode.

It seems that Safari Tabs, and Telegram are taken into account, but the following apps that I'm using do not appear in the list:

Numbers,

Slack,

Teams,

Firefox,

Arc,

WebStorm,

Postman,

Bruno.

As mentioned earlier, can not explain why yours does not work as expected

.Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees who deal will these types of issues .

Product Feedback - and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue
