Passport jpeg photo is too large to upload to online visa application. i need a jpeg file under 1mb but dont know how to make it that small
I have an iPhone 14 and I’m trying to reduce a photo jpeg size to under 1mb

When uploading a photo, select the photo in the Photos app window that opens, then tap on "Cancel" to go back to the library view, the photo should remain selected. Tap on the control icon at the bottom right corner. It should open a menu and offer several sizes for the upload. Choose medium or small and try to upload it again. It will show an estimated size below the "sizing" section.
