Missing months in photos library view on my iPhone 15 Pro Max

Hi,

I like to click on the months section of the Photos app when searching for photographs but I now have a blank for May 2025 and there is nothing showing for August 2025. My library displays every other month. This only happened after I tried to clear some space in the google photos app last night. Is there any way of fixing this? When I click on ‘All’ all my photographs for May and August are still there so not sure why it’s not picking them up.

I’ve updated IOS and May/August still missing. Image attached showing the blank for August.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The pictures in the "Months" etc sections aren't intended to have all the pictures from that month-- they are a sort of "featured picture" thing, and Photos scans through the pictures to find the ones it thinks you'll like best. It doesn't understand me very well. It may be that Photos will re-scan those pictures and they will reappear. However, Photos doesn't usually re-scan what it's already looked out. I'm not sure what Google does to your pictures ( wow-- mixing two artificial intelligence's sounds like war or disaster to me!) but it may interfere with the scanning.

Good luck!
