When I try to text or FaceTime someone new who doesn't have my contact saved (on my iPhone), it just shows them my email and not my phone number. I don't know why it bothers me so much, but is there a way to flip it so it shows my number instead??

Open Settings > Apps > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure your phone number is checked there. You can also check your email address, but to see the phone number coming in, you need your phone number checked there as well.
I can't currently check if the problem has been solved, but my Messages has both my number and email checked while my FaceTime only has my number checked so I think it might've worked. Maybe it's also because of my Apple ID, but thanks!
