Locked out of Macbook pro on every startup/restart.

Everytime I restart or shut down the mac, I get locked out for 15 min. My password is blank so I can't be getting it wrong. when I go to login it tells me to wait for 15 min. This is super annoying as you can imagine, especially if I'm trouble shooting some software for my business and often a restart is a good start. Any Ideas?

I just tried. It’s still the same thing. Maybe it would help, but it’s automatically locked when I start. It’s not even like I type it in and it’s like that.

I would never suggest using a blank psswd.

You can try a A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled temporarily.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
