How do I Remove or delete "Shared with you" items in Safari desktop?

See if this works for you—
To delete a "Shared with You" link in Safari, open the Safari app, scroll to the "Shared with You" section, tap and hold the link's preview image, and then select "Remove Link"

If in doubt use the Help menu...
Funny thing. (not so funny)... it finally showed those "Shared with you" boxes and I was able to right click on them and in the pull down menu,... delete them.
I rebooted my computer at the end of the day and "Voila"... it's still there!
What to do next?
