Vertical Lines MacBook Pro 2021 MP1

couple of days ago i notice very light lines appearing on my display screen and then it got worse. I did a diagotistic test and it says that i may have trackpad issues as well as the powersupply issue. Is that is the cause of my display to be like this? if so is there a fixed and do can the local apple store be able to fixed in person since i kinda of need the laptop for work reason. Or will they have to shipped it to somewhere in the united states to get it fixed.

That photograph of your display shows that the screen is cracked at the bottom, near the center of the screen. The disturbance follows a curved line upward and to the left, along the line of the cracked glass.

If you have an external display or TV set available, you could connect that and use it instead of the built in display as a work-around.

In the US, a 14-in screen replacement has been running about US$550, unless covered by AppleCare. The only field-replaceable part is the display assembly, complete -- there are no cheaper parts available. It is possible a local computer shop could transplant a USED screen from the EXACT same model MacBook Pro, if they could find one that died for other reasons than the screen.

Thank you for the screenshot.

Mac Screen with Lines on It:

Determining a Damages Screen:

Do you have any external displays? If so, plug it in, and see if you do not see the errors on that screen. If so, then it is an error from within the macOS. If not, then it is an error on the screen itself. With only USB-C ports, you'd need an adapter of sorts, and if HDMI, this is the one to use: USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - Apple

Getting this Mac Serviced...

Contact Apple, and see if this can be sent out to them. If there is a local store, you can set up a Genius Bar Appointment.  Or see an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) in your local area.

A. Contact Apple:

Or...

B. Contact an AASP:

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the Mac
