Reattaching Audio in iMovie
I've seen this question asked multiple times but hoping with the new iMovie update that Apple has designed a way to do it. In answer to the common statement "I can't think of a reason anyone would need to reattach the audio", here's the situation that I'm dealing with. I've hired a company to convert my old VHS and cassette home movies into digital media. My plan is to upload them into iMovie and organize them under common themes. Most of my digital conversions have worked perfectly, however, I've got a couple of videos where the audio is no longer synced to the video! This can happen when the cassettes are converted to digital. Since it's pretty wonky seeing a person's mouth move and then a couple of seconds later the audio starts, I want to fix this. Sooooo, I learned how to disconnect the audio using iMovie and then taught myself how to clip the audio bits and move them so they line up with the corresponding video. In the process I've got very good at reading lips. Now, I need to reattach the audio back to the video. Suggestions?
