M2 Studio crashes and restarts daily

AFAIK my M2 Studio (64gb ram, 1tb ssd) is idling while I use a pc connected to the same monitor, so I'm pulled out of the PC connection into the M@ to find it has crashed and restarted.


It reports the crash info to Apple and I take a copy, but it's all gobbledygook to me.

I've also ran EtreCheck Pro, but it's suggestions are a bit vague.


Is there anyone I could have a look at the crash dump ?


This has only happened in the past week.

I haven't added any new hardware.

The issue is most likely due to your external display.


DCP == Display Co-Processor


EXT1 == External 1st display


The M-series Macs can be tricky with external displays. It would really help to know the exact make & model of the external display as well as how that display is connected to the Studio Mac and which port on the computer is the display connected.


Also, are any devices connected to the external display?


I'm probably not going to be much help here, but this information will be needed for anyone else to better assist you so it would be best to post it now.
