using Apple Maps in car via CarPlay. There is a black or blue dart top left hand corner (in the UK) just above the 3D button that when pressed changes from a tilted dart to a vertical dart with a mark above it. What doe this do?
It changes the orientation of the map. It can change from pointing north, to pointing in the direction the phone is facing in. The up arrow with the line above it will change the orientation of the map to the direction that you are facing and as you move the orientation of the map moves.
