How do I stop Google Maps from showing up on my Apple Watch?

I pulled up Google maps to show an android friend where to go. I then pulled up maps from Apple and used it for me. Now Google maps keeps giving me this information that I have 3 minutes left. But my Google maps has been closed. How do I stop this?
