Can Bluetooth file transfer any file from my Pixel Phone to my iMac

This is so annoying. I can Bluetooth transfer files from the iMac to the Pixel using Bluetooth file exchange work perfectly. However, I can not Bluetooth transfer any Pixel 7 files to the iMac. The iMac and Pixel are paired with no issue. However, the Pixel 7 will not stay connected; it shows paired but not connected. When I connect the Pixel 7, it stays connected for a few seconds and then disconnects.

I have done all the suggested steps, including resetting Bluetooth, pairing and unpairing, deleting preference files, etc.

I am using the current Android 16. I recall, I think that this use to work. Is there a fix, or has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

The Apple Mouse causes interference with other Bluetooth devices. With the Apple Mouse installed I was not able to Bluetooth transfer files from my Pixel Android Phone to my older iMac. Removed the Mouse, connected my old USB mouse, and everything worked perfectly.

So here is the problem. Most recently, I decided to abandon my USB mouse and install my Apple Bluetooth mouse.

After reading about how Bluetooth devices consume the 2.4GHz frequency band, I decided to return to using a USB mouse. Now all my files work from Android to iMac. How do you fix this?

Sorry, but this post makes no sense at all.

There may be no simple fix for this.

Typical FCC certification for wireless devices states and allows that a device "may cause interference with other devices and must accept such interference from other devices".

You can try another different Apple mouse or a different brand bluetooth mouse altogether.

Another thing to try is to reposition any/all other bluetooth devices that are nearby, as well as rearrange any other devices and drives that are connected to your computer. Some external drives and/or their cases may emit RF energy that interferes with proper operation. Try disconnecting everything but the bluetooth mouse, keyboard and your phone and see if that has any effect on the problem.
