Can’t mirror iPad to Roku TV
I was trying to mirror my iPad to my Roku, but something went wrong while searching for the device. Do you see my Roku? I don’t.
Any idea what I should do?

Usually, AirPlay works great with Roku, but some older Roku models don’t support AirPlay at all.
If your Roku doesn’t show up when you try to mirror your iPad, it might be one of those older devices.
In that case, you can try apps like DoCast or TV Cast for Roku, they help with mirroring even without AirPlay.
Or the most reliable way is to use a Lightning to HDMI adapter. Just plug it into your iPad and connect to your TV with an HDMI cable. No Wi-Fi or apps needed, works every time.

Does the Roku TV support airplay? If it does not, connect the iPad to the TV a with a USB-C to HDMI cable
Are your iPad and Roku on the same Wi-Fi? That’s the most common problem.
Also, check if AirPlay is on in Roku settings: press Home on the remote Settings - Apple AirPlay & HomeKit - make sure AirPlay is On.
Then swipe down on your iPad, tap Screen Mirroring, and see if Roku appears.
If not, try restarting both devices. Usually helps.
I’m not sure about AirPlay... As for HDMI – I’d rather not use a cable
