MacBook Air M3 Screen & Heating Issue – Not Alone?

My MacBook Air M3 started overheating often, and recently the screen showed lines, flickering, and then stopped working completely. Even external display doesn’t help, and the system freezes often.

Apple service center quoted ₹60,000 for screen replacement, which is very high. What’s more, 3 of my classmates faced the same issue, but got free replacements as they were under warranty.

This seems like a common issue, possibly hardware-related. I'm out of warranty — but is anyone else facing the same? Hoping Apple looks into this seriously.
